Raising a glass to the new foraging year.

This week we ran our first proper foraging course of the year. Spring 2014 arrived early and the plants are doing really well, many of them weeks ahead of the same time last year, when we had only just got rid of the snow.

There was plenty to find and learn about but we still found time to raise a glass of Birch sap wine (recipe here from last year) to celebrate the start of our main foraging season.
