An evening of foraging and making delicious alcohol-free cocktails based in Taste the Wild's private woodland.
The founders of Taste the Wild & Bax Botanics bring their skills together for this special course to
teach and show you how to make amazing alcohol-free cocktails.
Together we’ll forage and you’ll learn how the distillation of botanicals creates hydrosols. Everyone
will be involved making syrups, shrubs and 4-5 different cocktails. Each is made with Bax Botanics
and showcases different techniques and a wild ingredient.
Mixology is about combining layers of flavour and sensations. We will look at how this works and
how you can take simple techniques and make amazing drinks.
There will be snack tasters to compliment cocktails and we will talk about food pairing with cocktails.
Special guest instructor Yasmin Spark will host a session on making and using shrubs and how they
bring great flavour and acidity to alcohol-free cocktails.
