Our Wood

We are lucky enough to own 18 acres of land in the Vale of York in beautiful North Yorkshire.

Entrance

It is diverse land botanically as it has mixed tree species and wet and dry ground.

The site has had many owners over the years including a church group from Barbados, Rolls Royce pensions, the British military and now us.

The different management styles of the owners have also added to the diversity of the flora.

Accommodation

Accommodation for the woodland courses

Limited accommodation can be provided in our Native American style tipi, which is situated in our private woodland. The tipi is furnished with rugs and floor cushions. We recommend that you bring an air bed or sleeping mat and sleeping bag.

The cost of a place in the communal tipi is £10 per person per night. Please notify us of your requirements when booking.

Quite a few of our guests like to bring their own tent and there are areas within the woods to pitch these.

If camping is just not for you then we have suggested some local places to stay - see below. These are bookable directly at extra cost.
