Coastal Foraging & Fishing Courses
Discover the wide variety of fish, seaweed, shellfish and coastal wild edibles around our shores. We have courses on the rocky coast of North Yorkshire and the sandy shores of Cumbria - both are stunning places in which to learn.
Wild Food, Foraging & Cooking Courses
Our hedgerows and woodlands are full of edible treats. Learn which ones make a tasty salad, which ones flavour ice cream, which mushrooms grow where. We have 1 and 2 day courses on seasonal foraging and wild food cookery.
Artisan Food Courses
These day courses are your chance to learn some of the most amazing food skills: how to butcher a deer into joints, sausages and more, how to create sour dough and other amazing breads, or down on the farm, how to milk goats and make cheese.

Foraging in the Smoke
You can find wild food almost anywhere. My favourite place to forage is definitely the countryside, but I am always up for a challenge, so when Sally Hurst from the NBC Today programme called me a month or so ago saying she wanted find some wild food for Thanksgiving without leaving her beloved London, I jumped on the train and headed for the smoke!
We headed out to Hackney marshes, a javelins throw from the Olympic park, to see what we could find.
